New TIX Circuit Board
The original TIX Clock was manufactured by CubeRoot from 2005 to 2014. I developed in 2024 a new circuit board for the existing TIX housing in a one-off series.
The main features of the new circuit board for the TIX Clock are:
- Display time (hours, minutes), date (month, day), temperature, relative humidity, air quality
- LEDs with RGBW (red, green, blue, white)
- Colors of the LEDs can be configured as desired
- Manual or automatic LED brightness with light sensor
- Night switch-off with defined dark period
- NTP time synchronization (requires WLAN and Internet connection)
- Configuration via integrated web server
- Sensors for temperature, humidity and air quality, MQTT Publisher
- Power supply via USB-A (2 A, 5V DC, USB cable included in the scope of delivery, USB adapter not included in the scope of delivery)
- Replacement tool screwdriver, no soldering required
The following video and pictures show an original TIX at the bottom and the TIX with the new circuit board at the top.
The TIX Clock is now supplied with power via a USB cable (type A). The cable is available in black and white and in lengths of 0.5m, 1m and 1.5m.
